Well, all you may not be interested in hearing this, but I think selling my savage was a good thing.
All bikes are different and the best bike is the one you feel comfortable with and the one you want to drive - hands down!
However, when I first drove the Vstar I bought, it felt like a tug boat, now, it's like I've been driving it all along.
The biggest difference I find is on the highway. I was always a little nervous on a 6 lane highway, the wind would toss me around, but not any more. It's also a much comfortable and smoother ride.
